DESCRIPTION:The Edmonton Chamber in partnership with the Electronic Recycling Association (ERA) and First General Services\, is excited to host a FREE electronics shredding and recycling event for local consumers and businesses. Join us Friday\, August 20\, 2021\, from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm in the First General Services Parking Lot (just off 77 Ave and 73 St.) and let us help you safely and securely destroy or recycle your outdated electronic devices. \n\n\n\n While you're onsite\, you can enjoy a complimentary BBQ courtesy of the First General Services team!\n\n\n\n Bid farewell to your unwanted electronics (computers\, laptops\, cell phones\, gaming consoles\, printers and tablets) while protecting your electronic data and personal information from cyber theft. All items will be data cleaned by the ERA team and then recycled or refurbished before being donated to individuals or organizations in need of second-hand technology. Feel good about your recycled electronics\, and know your efforts are working towards an environmentally sustainable solution!\n\n\n\n We'll also have a powerful hard drive shredder onsite\, so you can have your data destroyed FREE of charge while you watch the ERA experts in action. *Note\, please remove your hard drive before the event if you would like to watch the ERA team shred your device onsite.
