SUMMARY:Supporting an Aging Workforce (SAW) Policy and Inclusion Workshop - CPHR Alberta
DESCRIPTION:This interactive half-day workshop and panel discussion  held in Edmonton to gather professionals (HR Professionals\, researchers\, policy makers\, etc.) in-person to discuss barriers\, emerging needs and challenges for organizations to support older workers remaining in or re-entering the workforce.  This half-day of learning is the second part to the Summit on the Aging Workforce held by the Edmonton Chamber of Commerce June 7\, 2023.\n\nThe workshop will review\, add and expand on the learnings and information shared at the Summit of the Aging Workforce that was held in Edmonton this past June 2023 and to gauge if and how organizations may have changed or improved their policies to include older workers\, increased their recruitment practices of older workers and retained older workers.   \n\nIf you did not attend the session in June learnings from the Summit will be addressed throughout the morning with more information\, tools and resources added. \n\nThe half-day will include a Keynote\, workshop and HR Panel discussing:\n\n\n	Workplace challenges from HR Leaders and employers including recruitment\, re-deployment of skills\, upskilling\, etc.\n	New or updating policies in the workplace addressing older workers/inclusion. \n	Activating on Ageism: practical steps\, how to you know where your organization is?
