Join The Today Centre on Friday, June 7, 2024 for their 2nd Annual ‘Illuminating Hope’ Garden Cocktail Party hosted at the incredible Lodge at Snow Valley. Reminding us all of the healing, bravery, and resiliency of victims-survivors of family violence, their theme of ‘Illuminating Hope’ serves to raise awareness about the profound impact services like The Today Centre have on those facing incredibly dark and difficult times.
The Today Centre is a nonprofit organization located on the West end of Edmonton that serves those in our community experiencing and impacted by family violence (abuse). Our team of Family Violence Specialists provides clients with safety planning centered around keeping themselves and any children or pets safe, risk assessments to mitigate and identify risk associated with further harm, emotional support, and connections to over 300+ organizations in Edmonton and area. All of our services are free, confidential, and inclusive. You can learn more about The Today Centre and what we do by visiting our website at www.thetodaycentre.ca.
We hope you will join us for this incredible fundraising event and be whisked away to a garden escape in the city, with served appetizers packed with flavour, signature cocktails full of vibrancy and colour, and a drink on the patio overlooking a sprawling green hillside. Enjoy various forms of entertainment, including a caricaturist, Salisbury Greenhouse micro-fundraiser, patio games, and SYC beer tasting, all while bidding on a selection of high-quality silent auction items, and most importantly, hearing personal stories of hope from survivors of family violence.
Early Bird tickets are on sale until May 3 at 11:59 PM! Purchase your tickets before then and be entered to win an Edmonton Elks prize pack featuring two tickets to the Elks home game on July 14 against the Ottawa REDBLACKS and an autographed photo of EE Alumni and CFL Hall of Famer, Ricky Ray.
