Description

Investors and employees are looking for businesses that are trying to mitigate their impact on the environment, and that cares about their employees, fair compensation, and gender equality.

Environmental, social, and governance (ESG) criteria are a set of standards for a company’s operations that socially conscious investors use to screen potential investments. Environmental criteria consider how a business performs as a steward of nature. Social criteria examine how it manages relationships with employees, suppliers, customers, and the communities where it operates. Governance deals with a company’s leadership, internal controls, and shareholder rights. These factors are becoming increasingly important and are driving a radical change in the investment market.

Don’t miss this opportunity to hear from local sustainability expert Kate Chisholm on the growing role of ESG practices and reporting in business, and how it can be applied to your business. Learn how Capital Power is innovating, adapting, and creating responsible electricity solutions to power a low-carbon future to reach their goal of being net carbon neutral before 2050.

Please confirm your attendance by Monday, February 10th @ 4 PM
We will be using the Zoom meeting platform for the webinar. A link to join will be sent out to all registrants 12-24 hours prior to the webinar via email.
